get involved
You care about Mountain Brook—your neighborhood, your children’s future, your quality of life. You want to feel safe, see your schools supported, and know that your kids have great places to grow and play.
I do too.
I’m Becky Holt and I’m running for City Council because I believe you deserve a local government that reflects your values and protects what makes this city so special.
You work hard to build a good life here. I’ve spent years working to support that—through ALL IN Mountain Brook, the Junior League, our schools, the library, and our church. I listen, I show up, and I work hard to get things done.
Now, as we enter a new chapter for our city, it’s time to make sure Mountain Brook stays strong for the next generation.
If elected, I’ll focus on what matters most to you: Schools that are second to none. Safe neighborhoods. Parks and spaces where families and visitors feel welcomed and are able to connect.
You shouldn’t have to worry about whether City Hall is working for you and your family—because I will be.
I value relationships and community, and I would be honored to serve you and help keep Mountain Brook the kind of place you’re proud to call home.
and what's in it for you

As a mother of two, I know how important strong schools are to the heart of a community. As Executive Director of ALL IN Mountain Brook, I’ve worked closely with our schools to support students, parents, and educators. I understand the challenges families face and the value of having a school system that is supported at every level. I’ll be a committed partner to our educators and will work to ensure our schools remain among the best in the state.
I’ve spent years volunteering in our schools, parks, and neighborhoods, and I’ve seen how much our public spaces matter. Parks, ballfields, and gathering places are where kids grow, families connect, and community takes root. I’m especially passionate about enhancing our youth sports facilities, making sure they’re safe, well-equipped, and ready to meet the needs of growing families. I’ll work to keep these spaces strong so they continue to serve the next generation of Mountain Brook.
As a mom and neighbor, I believe nothing is more important than feeling safe in your own community. I will always support our police, fire, and emergency teams with the tools and training they need to protect Mountain Brook. Public safety is the foundation of everything else, and I’ll work hard to make sure our city remains a place where families feel secure and supported.
